"Screw you, guitar establishment"

I found this rather interesting article about the ukulele gaining popularity... Did you know that Jimi Hendrix first learned the uke even before touching a guitar? Or that George Harisson ( The Beatles) loves it?

The last paragraph of it resume very well the ukulele world to me :

"People who play the ukulele seem to have a good sense of humor about themselves, their music and about life. The uke, in and of itself, is a contradiction. It is a serious instrument with a playful attitude. But it is even more than that: as the directors of Rock that Uke say, It's more than a tiny musical instrument…it's a state of mind."

Prendre le "high tea" et le poid qui vient avec...

Being born in Quebec, drinking tea as it is, without adding sugar or milk is how I learnt to appreciate tea. I noticed english people (english speakers) don't see it this way. They're not only adding sugar and milk to the over-brewed not-anymore good for health drink, but they eat fatty foods with it.

A simple loose leaf green tea is for me afternoon tea is for them, i guess.

I ended up reading this article about how bad for health the afternoon tea is. Even tho the afternoon tea seems so appealing, I guess ill just stick to my green tea.
